Special reduced rates are available for groups of 15 or more. The Train Journey - The hassle-free way for coach parties to visit Corfe Castle and Swanage The Swanage Railway offers a nostalgic journey to the seaside resort of Swanage with all trains also serving the village of Corfe Castle with its historic castle and attractive town square.
CateringMany of our trains contain a buffet service offering light refreshments, hot and cold drinks and alcoholic beverages - these are in scheduled trains at weekends throughout the year and weekdays during the summer. There are buffets within restored carriages at Norden and Swanage Stations.
Corfe Castle Model VillageThe famous Corfe Castle Model Village celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2006 and is beautifully situated with the ruins of the real castle in the background. The Model Village shows the castle as it was before its destruction in the Civil War. Please see the Corfe Castle Model Village website by clicking here.
The National Trust at Corfe CastleNo visit to Corfe Castle is complete without a walk around the ruins of Corfe Castle, once one of England's strongholds but partially destroyed by Parliamentary forces in 1606 - following a successful siege during the English Civil War. For party booking offers please see the National Trust website by clicking here.
