Wareham is a historic market town, situated at the mouth of the rivers Frome and Piddle. Wareham retains its market day atmosphere, with a bustling high street, traveller’s inn pubs, including some on the banks of the river with outstanding views of the wildlife across the marsh and flood plains. There is plenty to see and do here including events throughout the year such as the Wareham Carnival are Wareham Music Festival.

Catch the frequent morebus No 40 bus from Norden Park & Ride which takes you right through the centre of Wareham and connects Swanage Railway to this historic town and its mainline Network Rail station with fast and frequent South West Trains services to Bournemouth, Weymouth, Southampton and London Waterloo.
