Catch the M1 or M2 bus from Bournemouth to Poole and sail on a boat to Swanage from Poole Quay, before boarding The Swanage Railway, and then catch the Purbeck Breezer 40 on a picturesque trip via Corfe Castle back to Poole. The Swanage Railway is a heritage line operating steam and diesel passenger trains along the five-and-a-half-mile line between Swanage, Corfe Castle and Norden. The preserved line also has stations at Harman’s Cross and Herston on the outskirts of Swanage.
