SWANAGE RAILWAY ANNOUNCED AS LOCATION FOR NEXT CARRY ON MOVIE

Swanage Railway has been announced as the location for the next Carry On Movie

Reboot Studios have announced that Swanage Railway is to be the location of the next Carry On Movie - "Carry On Chuffing". Director Terry Tankard explained "After seeing the great success of the oscar nominated Christopher Nolan epic war movie "Dunkirk" filmed on location in Swanage, we realised that Swanage Railway would be the ideal location for the first reboot of the franchise "Carry On Chuffing".

 The film will tell the story of the seaside townsfolk rallying round to save the railway after its is threatened with closure by British Railways. Appearing will be many well known stars including Sidney Ruff Diamond, Daphne Honeybutt, Peggy Hawkins and Leonard Marjoribanks as the Carry On Crew come steaming into town.

"Flo Castle and Glad Trimble" - the sisters famous for making movies such as "Im All Right Jill" and "Lucky Jen" are joint producers of the film from an original screenplay by "Bungdit Din.

Trevor Parsons, Chairman of the Swanage Railway Company exclaimed "This is Chuffing Marvellous, It will be champage all the way".

Filming will start on location on the 1st of April 2020.
