JOINT FUNDRAISING POST - SWANAGE PIER TRUST AND SWANAGE RAILWAY TRUST

WR Fundraising Recruitment is absolutely thrilled to be working with the Trusts of two of Swanage’s most famous historical attractions; the Pier and the Railway. These are two of the pinnacles of the tourist trade of the beautiful seaside town, and they need a fundraising superstar to help them build and develop relationships with supporters.

Swanage Pier Trust and Swanage Railway are looking for a fundraising specialist to take the reins of all of their income streams, develop strategies and to really nurture and grow their fundraising efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to really put your own stamp on this role whilst working closely with both of these organisations.

Fundraising Manager

Hybrid/Flexible

Swanage, Dorset

Full Time – Permanent

Salary – £45,000

Duties will include:

• Working in collaboration with the Chief Executive of the Swanage Pier Trust and the management of Swanage Railway, to develop fundraising strategies
• Setting a clear set of objectives and fundraising performance targets for each charity
• Building new relationships with a wide range of partners, and effectively nurturing existing relationships for sustainable growth
• Identifying potential opportunities with local community groups, corporate partners, and trusts/foundations

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience of working within the fundraising sector
• Experience of working within individual giving, trusts, community and/or corporate income streams
• Experience of managing relationships across a diverse range of supporters and stakeholders
• Ambition to develop exciting new income streams
