CHAPS Canford Heath and Poole steampunks and Swanage Railway welcome you to the railway's first Steam Punk event! What is steam punk? – it’s Victorian science fiction bought to life!
Come a meet the splendid members of CHAPS - often identified by their top hats and goggles – at Swanage Station.
Entertainments on offer include have a go at tea duelling (competitive biscuit dunking), try Victorian crafts, have a snap taken in the dress up photo booth, or browse a selection of trade stands.
Why not take a trip up the line to visit the Classic Steam and Vehicle Show at Norden - run by The Bournemouth and Poole Preservation Club.
Our regular service of full- size steam and heritage diesel passenger trains will be operating along the five and a half miles of line from Swanage to Norden and Corfe Castle. If you have time why not stop and visit our museum at Corfe Castle or the Purbeck Mining Museum at Norden.
Dressing up very welcome but not essential!
